Ambulance 511 & Ambulance 511B

In 1997 and 1998, we took delivery of two Freightliner FL-60 /Excellence heavy-duty ambulances. Each unit is outfitted with full basic life support equipment, onboard oxygen, an AED, suction units, etc. Additionally, the unit carries advanced life support supplies, including a Life-pack 12, IV supplies, intubation equipment, and a drug box containing various cardiac and other lifesaving drugs. This combination of equipment allows us the flexibility to staff the unit as either a basic ambulance or an advanced life support medic. The units can carry a crew of four as well as two supine patients. Each unit also carries two airpacks and masks for use by the crew in HazMat situations and fires.
