CPR Save

Tuesday night's crew was dispatched for a chest pains call which was upgraded to a stoppage of breathing while enroute. Crews arrived on scene and found an unconscious male subject not breathing and pulseless. CPR was immediately started as was application of an Automatic External Defibillator (AED). Local protocols were followed and the patient had regained a strong pulse prior to leaving the scene. Patient was delivered to the hospital for further treatment.
