| This past Thursday, Fire Chief Karasek had the opportunity to visit a local daycare during their βColors Weekβ celebration.
The children learned why our fire engine carries different colored hoses and how each one serves a specific purpose during emergency operations. It was a great opportunity to introduce some of our youngest community members to the fire service in a fun and engaging way.
With temperatures reaching 98 degrees that afternoon, the visit ended with a special demonstration of a fog nozzle, giving the kids a chance to cool off and experience a little firefighter fun firsthand! π¦βοΈ
Community outreach is one of our favorite parts of the job, and we always enjoy opportunities to educate, connect with, and inspire the next generation.
