In years past the Friday Night Duty Crew has been happy to establish a landing zone when Santa and Mrs. Claus participate with Prince William County Law Enforcement agencies to "Shop with a Cop". Unfortunately, this year the weather was too bad even for Rudolph to fly. So when Stonewall Jackson received the call to give Santa a ride we jumped at the opportunity. The engine, truck and ambulance crews met Santa and Mrs. Claus at a classified predetermined location and gave them a ride to the Wal-Mart at Manassas Mall. When we arrived we were met by close to a hundred children. Along with police officers from Prince William County, the City of Manassas, the City of Manassas Park and the Town of Haymarket, Prince William County Sheriff's Office, PWC Adult Detention Center correctional officers, Virginia State Troopers, and PWC Animal Wardens all patiently waiting for Santa.
