| At approximately 345am, units were dispatched to a reported house fire in Company 15's first due. E515, E524, E525, E511, E504, TW525, T511, R504, A525, M524, K515, K507, K607 responded. E515 arrived on scene with fire showing through the roof. Because no water supply had been established, E515 conducted a defensive attact once the owner confirmed all occupants were clear. E524 established the dump site as E511 established fill site operations. After water supply was established and an initial knock down of the fire was completed, units on scene went into interior attack. Division 1 was established and the fire was kept to half of the attic, saving many of the owners personal items. Teamwork and effective tactics yeilded a safe and successful property save. Job well done by all and a special thank you to the mutual aid companies from Loudoun County. |
