House Fire In Bristow Kicks Off Busy Weekend

At 0804, while the Friday Night Crew was handing off to C Crew, units from Bristow, Gainesville, Stonewall, Manassas City, and Nokesville were dispatched to Box 2502 for a reported house fire on Glen Meadow Lane.

Engine 525 and Tower 525 arrived quickly and report smoke showing from side A of a 2-story single family home. E525's crew made entry with a hoseline and found active fire in the garage. TWR525 began ventilation. E504 arrived and pulled a backup line to the structure. E511B arrived third due and assumed RIT, conducting a walkaround and throwing additional ladders. AC525 (Petrie) established command.

Within minutes, the fire was out through a well-coordinated attack. E511B stood down from RIT and cleared the scene at approximately 0900. Crews remained on the scene until approximately 0955 overhauling the scene.
